This course is produced by Jesus House, Lagos, Nigeria; as part of the activities of the Tech-Relevant Teacher (TRT) Project, an Initiative of Bunmi Adedayo Foundation, sponsored by the Coca-Cola Foundation for Nigerian pupils in basic six, preparing for the Common Entrance Examination.
In the course we will be learning all about verbs as a part of speech. Moreover, we will be doing justice to the sub-topics as seen in the lesson objectives below. This lesson promises to be interactive, educative and engaging.

Lesson 1: Regular and Irregular Verbs
Regular and irrgular verbs are verbs that form their past tense and past participle by adding markers such as â-d, -ed, -ied or âtâ to the present tense.

Lesson 2: Tenses
Tenses tell when the action of a verb takes place.

Lesson 3: Positive and Negative Statements
These are declarative statements believed to be factual ( positive- without not) or false (negative-with not). Starter: In five minutes, watch the video on Positive and Negative Statements and identify what makes a statement positive or negative.

Lesson 4: Question Tags and Responses
Question tags are words used at the end of sentences to form questions when we want someone to agree with or confirm what we are saying. Starter: watch the short video presentation and carefully listen to the conversation on tag questions.
