This course is produced by DE-NICE Nursery and Primary School, Lagos, Nigeria; as part of the activities of the Tech-Relevant Teacher (TRT) Project, an Initiative of Bunmi Adedayo Foundation, sponsored by the Coca-Cola Foundation for Nigerian pupils in basic six, preparing for the Common Entrance Examination.

Every day we communicate with people around us and those who are far away from us. We express our thoughts and ideas through speech and writing and want people to listen to us. Therefore, we must understand the type of speech to use as we express ourselves in spoken words and writing.
